In the industrial x-ray testing, ionizing radiation (electromagnetic waves of high energies) is used. The radiation is generated with X-ray equipment (X-rays) or with radioactive sources (γ-rays). It is a volumetric method with which we search for irregularities in the object under test.
The safety of third persons and our employees is of utmost importance. Our examiners are part of personal dosimetry system. We also work with high activity radioactive sources such as Iridium-192. We have a specially equipped car for transporting high activity radioactive sources, we also import sources and export spent sources.
The RT method is performed on site and in the X-ray laboratory. Radiograms are developed manually or with the help of film developing machines. With this method we examine welds and base materials.
